Hi Babymakingfiles, hope you're doing well and enjoying this final Christmas as a non-Mummy! This time next year, God willing, we'll both have out little bundles with us and I'm sure life will never be the same as it is now. So sorry we haven't had a chance to meet up in person. If you find you have an opportunity to visit Leeds between now and your due date, then please let me know. When are you planning to start your maternity leave? X karin

Hi Babymakingfiles, so sorry we missed each other at the NCT sale in York yesterday! I was thinking of getting in touch, as I felt you may be going too. However, the friend who offered to take me is a new Mom and left her family behind and braved icy roads to take me to York in her car. I knew she only had limited time so it was going to be a quick turnaround -- and as it turned out, we ended up having to drive to a very pretty suburb of York to also retrieve the accompanying car seat from the person who's pram I bought. I just didn't think I'd have to meet up and have a relaxed tea and mince pie -- much as I would have liked to, and would still like to! December is so busy for everyone, but we could still try to meet up in January. Do you ever have any reason to come to Leeds? We could meet up at Anthony's cafe in the Corn Exchange. It's a really pleasant cafe w/ yummy treats all around -- or there's the bright cafe at the top of Harvey Nichols -- or a number of other cozy spots. Let me know if you fancy a visit to Leeds in Jan on a Sunday -- I know that you'll be getting busier and moving into prep mode as your due date nears!
